Ceramic Coatings are resistant to UV rays, salt, bird bombs, bug etching, hard water spots, minor abrasion and traffic film. In addition, they are extremely hydrophobic and offer "self cleaning" properties.
While protecting the surface, ceramic coatings also keep the vehicle clean longer and make aid in making quick work of maintenance washes. Unlike your traditional wax or sealant, ceramic coatings chemically bond to your clearcoat making an extremely strong and semi-permanent source of protection.
Please note that the longevity and overall health of the ceramic coating is dependant on proper maintenance. Ceramic Coatings are NOT a replacement to washing your vehicle and should not be viewed as so. A properly protected vehicle should be washed at least once a month and professionally decontaminated at least once a year.
Often times properly maintained coatings outlive their rated lifespan.
